RÖBÄCK är Westerbottens bryggeris hyllning till den brittiska ölkulturen. Här låter vi malten spela huvudrollen, medan humlen får stiga lite åt sidan. Kanske kan den upplevas som lite torrare än vad som är brukligt med mörkare öl. Och kanske har den ett kraftigare skum än vad britterna brukar uppskatta. Å andra sidan – RÖBÄCK är vår variant av en Red Ale.

Röbäck r en hälsning till den britiska ölkulturen. Vi har valt att hålla tillbaka humlebeskan och låter malten få spela huvudrollen. Denna fylliga ale passar till husmanskost - och pepparkaka!

Bottled@Lottas Krog, Umeå. Deep ruby colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is caramel, mild floral and fruity notes along with some toasted and mild bready notes. Flavour is fruity, floral and some wooden and resiny notes. Dry wooden aftertaste.

Bottle at Lottas Krog, Umeå. Deep ruby color, small off-white head. Caramel, berries, perfumic hoppyness in the nose. Medium-bodied. Caramel, light English hops in the flavor. Clean, beer for food.

Bottle (Stockholm Beer Festival 2014) - Copper in colour. Raisins, caramel and some biscuity notes feature in both the aroma and taste. Nicely balanced and well made.

Appearance: Brown colour with an off-white head.
Aroma: Malt, caramel, some hops.
Body: Medium body and carbonation.
Flavour: Clean, malt, some grass, a bit caramel.

Sample at SBWF 2014. A bit hazy amber with a medium white head. Aroma and taste of hops, hay, bread, malt and some caramel. The finish was failry bitter.

Bottled at SBWF. Hazy mahogany colour, mid sized head. Fruity and earthy, toasty with notes of grass. Mid dry with light body and rounded mouthfeel. Chocolate, grass and bitter herbs. Distinct bitter finish.
