(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 4 Oct 2014) Black colour with huge, creamy, brown head. Looks like a chocolate tart. Malty, roasted, spicy nose with notes of liquorice, sweet gale and chocolate. Malty, roasted, spicy taste with chocolate, coffee, bitter-sweet flavours of sweet gale, dried fruit and a certain roasted bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Very tasty, with the bitter-sweet gale making it complex and quite intriguing. Very nice.

Keg at SBWF. Dark brown, beige head. Bog myrtle and licorice up front. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Bog myrtle goes well with the tar and licorice giving it an impression of taiga forests. Mid bitter finish.
