Ängens Dagg - är kanske vårt allra mest ”normala” mjöd. Vitklöver utgör kanske det allra största beståndet till nektarinsamling av bin i Sverige. Vitklövern återfinns i alla delar av landet och innebär för de flesta biodlare en stor del av honungsskörden varje år. Mjödets honung är väldigt ren vitklöverhonung med ursprung i Mats Johanssons biodling i Östra Fågelvik och eftersötad med Lundevis egen honung. Mjödet ligger precis på gränsen mellan vad vi kallar halvtorrt och halvsött.

Bottle@SBWF2014 (thanks Svesse!). Pale silvery yellow colour with no head. Arom ais fruity, floral, some honey, clover, mild grassy and earhty tones. Flavour is honey, some floral and clover tones wiht mild grassy elements too. Very smooth and worked surprisingly well.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 7 Oct 2016) Pale yellow colour with no head. Fruity nose with notes of honey, grass and summer meadows. Fruity, sweet taste with grass, flowers, honey and a sweetish finish. Almost full body, fairly sweet. Well balanced, tasty and highly drinkable. Quite nice.

75 cl bottle on February 19, 2016, thanks to Dunbar72! Ordered from Systembolaget by the bottle.Clear inside of pear color, tiny bubbles, no legs. Honey, clover, floral scent. Honey, floral taste. Light alcohol, slight bitter aftertaste. Full mouthfeel, alcohol finish. Very clean, slight sweet, slight dry.

More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Fresh and quite gentle mead. Highly drinkable and quite enjoyable.
