(Bottle) Dark brown colour with brief, frothy, beige head. Malty nose with notes of dark bread, toffee, roasted malt, dried fruit, coffee, some chocolate and orange peel. Malty taste with dark bread, roasted malt, dark chocolate, toffee, coffee, dried fruit, figs, orange and a gentle spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Doesn’t really stand out and make a lasting impression, but it’s well constructed and balanced. Quite enjoyable.

Flaske 330ml fra Systembolaget Kiruna. Veldig mørk rødbrun. Ekstremt lavt skum. Subtil aroma av malt & søt frukt. Smaken karamell. Blir litt tørr etter hvert. Balansert.

33cl bottle from Systembolaget, Strömstad. Pours mahogany coloured with a modest off-white head. Malty and fairly caramelly aroma with some hoppy and fruity notes, hints of roasted malt, dark bread and grass. Medium sweet with malty, caramelly and slightly fruity flavours and a certain bitterness. Quite pleasant, not quite my style, but decent ale.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a nutty brown with a small, off-white head. Sweet, subtle roast in the nose. Medium-bodied, again subtle roast and a chocolatey note. Very subdued bitterness. Very drinkable. 021214
