Bottle bought @ Systembolaget. Pours dark amber with a thin beige head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty and tiny fruity with dark bread, caramel, grapefruit rinds, moist grass, orange zest, lemon zest and hints of black tea. Taste is sweet, bitter, malty and tiny fruity with dark bread, caramel, grapefruit juice, moist grass, dried pine needles, orange zest, lemon zest and hints of juniper berries and black tea. Mouthfeel is round, tiny crisp, very tiny roasted astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet, bitter and slightly malty with dark bread, caramel, grapefruit rinds, moist grass, black tea, juniper berries and orange zest. A solid classic ale. Nothing more nothing less.

33cl bottle. Best before 2015-01-06. Cola brown, thin off-white head that quickly disappered. Bready malty aroma, biscuits, nuts, some cocoa as well. Flavor has caramel, bread, molasses, hops. Quite dry and bitter finish. Like a mix between an ESB and a dunkel. Decent.

Bottled. Copper colour, small white head. Aroma is biscuit malts, some mild caramel as well as some floral and mild nutty notes. Flavour is nutty, mild toasted notes, caramel as well as some biscuity notes. Tasty and quite pleasant.

330ml Bottle - Very dark brown in colour. Raisins, grain and wort stick out in the aroma. Malty, fruity and moderately sweet taste with wort, raisins and caramel standing out. Some slightly metallic notes can be detected in the finish.

330ml can, shared by djoeye. Very nice appearance with its remaining, fawn-coloured, bubbly head leaving fine lacework to the glass. Dark ruby coloured body. Roasted brown malts to the nose. Earthy malts, coffee, and toffee flavours. Roasted bitter round off. Medium bodied. Clean and with fine drinkability (Tromsø 14.05.2014).
