Draught at Akkurat.
Dark brown, copperish body, with a big, fluffy, rocky, lacing, beige head.
Aroma of bitter chocolate, coffee, cocoa, dark fruits, some liquorice.
Tastes pretty similar.
Light, slick mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes roasty, bitter, dry, subtly sweet, with coffee, cocoa powder, dark chocolate.

Nice one. Easy to drink, but still robust, with nice dry, roasty notes. Good example of the style, really solid.

(Keg at Olivet Twist, 20160325) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts and grass. Palate was watery and less than medium bodied with high carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, creaminess, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and bitter. A brew that would have been better had it had less carbonation. The drinkability was not good now.
