Draught @ Monks Porter House, Stockholm. Pours clear pale golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with sparse hoppy notes. Sweetish, estery and malty flavour, with bitter, hoppy notes. Rough, estery aftertaste. Well, not bad as such, actually quite decent for a light lager, but definitely not my favourite beer.

On tap @ Monks Cafe, Wallingatean. Practically clear, pale golden body with a white head. Quite mild grainy aroma. Plain, clean lager flavor, a bit sweet and low bitterness. Medium body and moderate in aftertaste. OK drinkable lager without any faults, but pretty much straight forward and not much more than a thirst quencher.

Draught @ Monk’s Sveavägen. Clear golden colour with a thick white head. Aroma of malts, grain. Rather light bodied. Flavour is rather mild, malt, hops. Not really up to the usual standard of the beers at Monk’s.

Draught at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, part of the flight "halvmeter öl", on November 16, 2012.Clear straw yellow to pale golden color, white head. Sweet, sugary, grains, malty, bitter taste. Aftertaste is dry, grainy and bitter. Medium mouthfeel that is somehow both spritzy and smooth. Butter, sweet, malty scent. Medium to medium high dry bitterness that lingers with a mix of minerals.

Draught in one of the cafes. Pale yellow with a frothy short lived head. Aroma is metallic and cabbage. Tastes like a lager from a can.

(Draught at Monk’s Café Sveavägen, Stockholm) Pale golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with notes of bread, hay and mild, grassy hop aromas. Malty taste with bread, cereal, vanilla and a gentle grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight malt sweetness. Quite decent.
