Dark reddish-brown with a very large head. Aroma has caramel, touch of alcohol and a little bit of diacetyl. Taste is nice - toasty, sweet, nutty, fresh malt, alcohol late, breadcrust and toasted seeds and all that bocky good stuff.

Typical bock beer from a big Dutch brewer. Sweet and a bit flat. Brewed for the masses and boring.

Mahogany with small beige head. Roasted malts, wood, blackcurrant, medium sweet with bitter aftertaste. All a bit light and unoffensive. I remember having this last year and hating it, but this is actually pretty decent for a bok.

Bottle courtesy of Ekstedt shared @ Ekstedts bock-tasting. Pours clear chestnut brown with a white head that quickly dissipates while leaving some trace on the glass. Smell is sweet and rather subtle with caramel, bread, sweet dried dark fruits and hints of alcohol. Taste is sweet and malty with dark bread, golden syrup, raisins and hints of caramel. Mouthfeel is tiny sticky sweet and medium bodied. Finish is sweet with bread, golden syrup and sadly a weird puke-like taste.
