568ml bottle into pint glass. Hazy bronze colour with lots of tiny bubbles and a tightly packed crown of white foam on top. Smells of fruity caramels, pepper, and grass. Nice lacing.Surprisingly light body with a little spritzy fizz on the tongue. Finish is lingering, earthy, piney and herbal with some peppermint bitterness late on. A contemplative 'adult' brew, makes me stare into the middle distance thinking about.....stuff.

(Bottle) Pours slightly hazy amber with decent white head. Pleasant aroma -pine, stone fruit, toffee hints. Medium body, excellent smooth and bright carbonation. Great taste - fruity hoppy flavours nicely balanced with caramel malt, and some pleasant bitterness in finish. Very drinkable.

Bottle. Bright amber with an inch of white head that's less than a coat after a time. Aroma of toast crusts, grapefruit, flowers, spices. Just medium bodied. Moderate carbonation. Very floral, floats over the top of clean slightly caramelised malt - a little biscuity and toasty. Like normal LCPA a lot of the hop aromatics are integrated into the beer rather than pop out, and here grapefruit and spices are "in". And although the floral notes are more dry hoppy, the balance and roundness of the normal LCPA is retained. Bitterness is grapefruit and pine resin -tinged and lingers. Really good (but part of LCPA's status is that of enduring and widely available excellence).[3.9]After a couple more, bumping the score.
