375ml can from Monster and Beer, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy golden colour with a short-lived frothy white head. The aroma is funky yeast, tropical citrus fruits, mango, light alcohol. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a rich, warm boozy, juicy citrus, floral hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Plenty of fruit and well hidden alcohol, but somewhat light for a DIPA.

(Can) Pours opaquely cloudy golden with tiny white head - looks like fruit juice. Big aroma is a cocktail of fruit, pine and herbal notes. Lovely palate, full body, smooth with fine soft carbonation. Great taste too. Again quite a lot going on. There’s hops from start to finish with a gathering bitterness through the palate, with a long strong bitter finish. The fresh fruit at the start balanced this well. There are herbal notes and some biscuit malt and the alcohol bite is subtle but present. Very good.

From a 375ml can on 12/7/2019. Pours a cloudy pale golden with a small white head. Has a pretty big aroma of dank tropical fruit with quite a bit of zest and spice. In the mouth it's very nicely balanced - a good whack of citrus, tropical and stone fruit sweetness, followed by a pretty assertive zesty bitterness, featuring loads of peel and a bit of spice. The palate is smooth and slick, the carbonation moderate to average. Big and bold yet still very approachable. All up, it's very tasty and well done.

Can from Brewcraft at home - this is the NE DIPA version, 9.0% ABV. Light hazy-opaque golden, slightly peachy pour with thin fuzzy head. Aroma is bright and zesty bitterness - lemon, mango, lemon balm. Very nice. Taste is more zest and tart lemon peel bitterness. Sort of similar to Carbon Brews’ Crazy Rich Lupulins in its huge lemon zest flavor. Has that fuzzy smooth palate I like in many NEIPAs. Lasting tingly bitter warmth. Very nice. Would get again.

Can. Opaque orangeish amber with a small white head. Sharpish aroma of citrus, herbs, pineapple. It's not sludgy but it does have a bitey astringency that goes with the herbal and pineapple notes. But the fruit flavours pop. Finish is moderately bitter. Alcohol is very well hidden. Seemed softer as it warmed above 10C. Still not quite my thing.
