Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, some licorice. Flavour is mildly sweet, roasty, light licorice. Not the most Imperial, but a nice heavy Stout regardless.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Creamy aroma with chocolate, licorice and a hint of ash. Slightly fizzy. Malt, roast, licorice and cream in the flavor. Easy drinking IRS that needs a bit more character.

Fles 33cl thuis. Wat saai, kandij, weinig bitters, wat zuurtonen, rood fruit. Geen typische Imp. Stout. (2-2017).

[9/24/16] Bottle at Drinkerij ’t Bierhuys in Woerden. Black with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate, cocoa, some roast, dark fruits, a bit of licorice. Sweetish flavor with a bit of umami, chocolate, roast, light oxidation, a bit of dark fruits, caramel, nuts. Medium-bodied. Nice. Doesn’t feel like an Imperial Stout though.

Bottle at home. Very dark brown with huge fizzy beige head. Cola, sour red berries, some dark chocolate, raisins, dust, grapefruit. Light sour, sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with a bit thin feel, soft carbonation. Very weird, probably infected, but still drinkable.
