Beyerd Winterbier is het tweede seizoenbier van de Beyerd. Voortgeborduurd op de Herfstbock maar voor de wintermaanden een tikkeltje voller, zoeter en zwaarder.

Cloudy brown colour. Aroma has light roasted malt and some cocoa. Flavour is quite sweet with some caramel and a touch of cocoa and some yeast. Quite light and easy to drink.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy dark brown with a small, creamy and tan head. Aroma is roasted dark malty and light caramelish. Sweet, caramelish and mild overripe fruity note. Smooth caramelish, roasted and mild sweetness. Mild phenolic and caramelish finish.

Draught, 8% at the brewpub. Very dark brown colour, seems clear. The flavour is nicely roasted, mild roasted malt, but quite flavourful. A good sour note balances the malt. OK mouthfeel and pleasantly mild carbonation.
