Bottled 21/9/16. Amber, slightly hazy, white head. Brooding citrus, pine sap, toffee. And booze. Bittersweet with raisins and caramel, tenor register citrus (macerating grapefruit peel), less pine than in the aroma. Strong bitterness. edsbrew1’s invocation of DFH (90 presumably) is about right for this fairly fresh bottle. But I don’t much care for that one either.

330ml bottle at Matt’s. BB 29/03/2016. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is yeasty (wild yeasts, similar to bretts), slightly sweet. Taste is spicy, wild yeasts, hoppy bitter. Hoppy bitter, wild yeast aftertaste.

Tasting at Matt’s, tagged 29/03/16 (but also "brewed in October 2015")
Hazy to cloudy, amber color, small head. The aroma is a bit funky, and yeasty. Smooth, moderately sweet, some caramel flavor; the yeast plays a too big role, with astringency, funk, and a metallic flavor.
Weird; not enjoyable.

Bottle - Orange citrus candy like hops. Cloudy copper gold with a decent off white head. What a mess of dirty flavours. Sweet, funky, bitter and a long unpleasant finish.

330mL bottle, pours a cloudy opaque dark amber with a small white head. Nose is fruity and yeasty, with red berries, some resinous hops and lots of dirty yeast. Flavour is perfumey, floral and yeasty, with perfumey and floral hops, lots of yeast, and a bit of booze. It's messy, dirty and jumbled, but it's still not bad. Solid mess.

From a 330ml bottle on 17/4/2016. Pours a slightly cloudy dark golden/amber with a medium head. The aroma is dense fruity and yeasty. Tastes of sweet stone fruit (peach, apricot), with a bit of tropical fruit (mango) in there too, against a malt background that’s a touch biscuity. Features a big, quite resiny, spicy, yeasty bitterness. Has a fullish body and moderate carbonation. My kid brother didn’t rate this but I think it’s a very drinkable DIPA. Not typically American in style - it actually has a bit of Pirate Life IIPA about it, which is not a bad thing.

@ Lord Raglan. Very cloudy, with bubbly head. Light overripe mango. Quite bitter. Yeasty. Hint of tropical fruit. Well, alcohol finish and yeasty as fuck
