Good tripel pour, huge head, quite hard to control. Remainder of the bottle foamed out! Crazy over carbonation. Aromas of spice, yeast and soft fruit. Quite bitter finish with a big yeasty punch. The malt hits hard in the finish and adds a sweet matly cerealness.

A hazed amber ale with a thick light mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light curacao, grassy notes, light vinous notes. In mouth, a sweet candy malt with honey notes, orange peels, light astrigence.

500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Batch #465. ABV is 9.0%. Golden colour, slightly hazy. Pours very fizzy with a huge white head. Very fruity and spicy aroma, notes of strawberries and cloves. The flavour is quite sweet, again very fruity and moderately spicy, with discrete hops in the background. Warming mouthfeel.

50 cl bottle @ Gastropub Nordic. Rated on 07.05.2011
Aroma has apricot, some exotic fruits and alcohol. Flavour has exotic fruits, some caramel and solvent‐like alcohol. Way too much alcohol here.

50cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Slightly hazy golden orange colour, white head. Aroma of ripe fruits, thick malty, green apples, banana, alcohol. Flavour is sweet, ripe fruits, banana, green apples, dried apricots, alcohol, yeast, very malty, light spicy, light bitter alcohol finish. Medium to fullbodied, but over-carbonated, making this not easy to drink, maybe for the better considering the ABV. Classic tripel.

Bottle @ Cafe Buitenlust, Oirschot. Clear yellow to golden colour with some yeast chunks, and a nice white head. Smells herbs, malts and spices. Tastes hoppy, herbs, spices, sweet and malts. Good carbo (on the edge of having too much), medium body.
