375mL bottle at Moeder Lambic St Gilles, pours a clear ruby red with a medium pinkish beige head. Aroma of sweetened raspberry pure dominating and a little yeast. Flavour seems a bit muted, with dry raspberries and not much else. It tastes slightly artificial and again quite muted, despite being dominated by raspberries. Nothing offensive about it, but certainly nothing special.

Crystal clear ruby red. 2 finger slightly red hear fading very slowly Nose is full of candy syrup. Hit of raspberry Taste is barely tart. Lots of candy, sugar, fake raspberry taste and overall, disappointing. Luckily, boom framboise is much worse. This is pretty bad

37,5 cl bottle @ Gastropub Tuulensuu. Rated on 07.08.2010
Aroma has raspberries, some fruit sugar and a leathery feeling. Flavour is somewhat sweet with raspberries, some fruit sugar and distant woody notes. Feels leathery in mouth too. Too sweet to be a ’true’ lambic but not bad still.

Bottle at home (Noel Cuveliers) 26/12/12. Pours a slightly obscured raspeberry claret with no head. Nose is a big fresh raspberry assault, some sugars in the background. Taste of slightly tarte raspberries, berry fruits, a little sugar, some bitterness and sour notes, touch of musty woodness. Medium bodied with fairly soft carbonation with a little fizz, crisp dry berry finish. Ok - not quite tarte/sour enough for my liking.

pours very nice coloured! red, bordeaux, pink-ish, see trough, very very nice. white small head fades very fast. smells like framboos ( cant get to the english word but i supose by now everyone knows the dutch also :p ) tastes little sour, fresh frambozes, aftertaste is no sourness at all. yet i do miss an aspect of framboos again ( like lindemans) , that i did have in spontanframboos. so i’d say that i am dissapointed a bit ...

0.375l bottle. This is crystal clear deep red body with a fading bubbly and light lacing pinkish head. The aroma has lots of sweet raspberries mixed with some wet grass and woody currants. Interesting. In the flavor it starts off quite acidic and sour with lemon and bitter old wet wood and raspberries, then it continues with a more sweet profile. Sweet raspberries and even some strawberries. Woody and a hint of moss and some cellar fungi. Not a favorite in the framboise genre, but it grows on you. 04.08.2012

Bottle. Deep red with a small head. A lot of rather sweet raspberries in the aroma. Also some light notes of barnyard. Also a lot of raspberries in the taste, but not as sweet as in the aroma. Dry with a light tartness. Refreshing and pleasant to drink.
