(Bottle) Pours clear straw yellow with small transient loose white head. Pleasant aroma, although odd for a beer; it’s clearly lychees, with some other subtle sweetish floral notes. Palate is thin and fizzy. Taste is weird, not unpleasant, but too odd to be pleasant. It’s fruity, although I wouldn’t identify lychee. There’s some light malty sweetness, that might be syrup rather than malt, but the fruity tastes are confusing. A redeeming feature is the finish which is fairly dry and crisp but with some lychee hints to it. An odd beer. I am glad I tried it. Wouldn’t choose it again, but also wouldn’t turn one down.

Bottle - so from Perth, not Broome. Pale gold with a white head that fades but doesn’t disappear. Smells like a cross between fresh lychees (which I like a lot) and lychees tinned in syrup (not). Watery. Some, but not as much lychee in the taste. A little grainy, some soap, slightly metallic. It’s very thin, so the slight lean towards dry and the lowish bitterness is enough. OK - certainly finish it.

330ml bottle into schooner glass. Nose is sweet fruit and perfume. Very pale yellow beer with small film of bubbles on top. Thin body. slightly zingy mouthfeel. It’s like drinking musk sticks! There is a hint of lychees about but everything is dominated by floral perfume. Too weird and no fun.
