Well - uh this was a lager. And wow it was kosher too....weird. Not too bad, nothing to get worked up about though certainly.

Tap. A jug alongside a tableful of Malaysian food. Yellow gold with a white head. Fizzy. Clean bland and smooth with bread and hints of citrus and flowers. Fresh, clean and guzzleable. Entirely fit for purpose.

375ml bottle into schooner glass. Slight malt nose. Crystal clear amber beer with solid white head. Smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Abrupt crisp finish. Malty and streets ahead of other Aussie lagers.

Pours gold with a fading head.Nose shows hay, sweet light malt, vegetal characters and bready notes.Similar flavours, more hay and sweet light malt with cooked vegetable notes.Carbonation could really be higher.

From a 375ml bottle on 13/11/2011. Pours a pale yellow golden with little head. Has an unremarkable grainy aroma typical of pale lagers. There’s nothing particularly notable in the flavour, though it’s a bit maltier than the typical Oz lager. Finishes with a moderate hop bitterness. A slightly above average lager but still generically dull.

12.7 oz bottle into lager glass. Pours a clear gold with a small collapsing white head; leaves a blanket and collar of foam. Aroma is faintly spicy, carasmelly, custard (?). Taste is caramel sweet--not too overbearing--and faintly bitter in the finish. Highly carbonated with a medium-thin body and dry mouthfeel. Just okay. Re-rate: I really started getting sick of this by the end of the glass. It started to get cloying. This thing could use some hops.

Bottle as shown. Pours a pale golden with a small frothy white head that diminshes quickly. The aroma is a sweet corn malt and wheat grass. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet corn malt and floral hop. Easy to drink, a decent lager from Coopers.

Bottle from the World Beer Festival - Richmond on 09/05/2010. Very clear golden body with a medium rocky off-white head. Sweet grain and light honey aroma. Sweet grain, honey, lots of caramel and a very dry lightly floral finish. Medium body with moderately high carbonation.
