The first few sips I thought this was awful, but about halfway through the glass there is about a 50/50 mix of good and bad - what’s good includes some crisp, dry, peppery hops and semi-dry pale maltiness - the bad includes a watery body and a mild metallic character - meh.

Bottle sampled at the World Beer Festival Richmond, 6/12/10 Pours a clear golden color with a thin head. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma of grain, caramel and faint corn. The taste is grain, grass and stone fruits. Thin-medium bodied.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a medium golden color with a huge soapy white head that lingers. The aroma was faint and a bit dry with a citrusy note. The flavor was sweet, tangy and fruity with a fairly typical pale profile and a hint of floral hops. The finish was medium length sweetish, tang and a bit hoppy. Medium body. Not bad.

Coopers, sounds familiar but never tasted this one. Pale lager in appearance allright. Interesting shaped bottle, too bad its twist off. Clean flavor, not much offensiveness going on here. Friendly enough alright. Good manners and easy to drink. Yes, seems about 5% on the palate. Goes down easy and easy to session I bet. Real aussie beer eh, from downunder? Yepperie, finish is frommunder too, but like many other decent american lagers.

Light malt nose. Clear yellow, thin vanishing head, streams of carbonation. Very weak malt flavor with a lemon grass finish. Macro-ish.

Pours bright yellow into a shaker. Bright white head recedes at a medium pace to coat surface leaving spider lacing. Sour cookie aromas. Crisp and grainy malts upfront. Slightly sour bitter finish. Taint awful.

Bottle at Outback. pours golden with white head. Aroma is malty with some notes of floral hops and grains. Overall taste of light malts, with light hoppy finish. Crisp and smooth. Passable and boring beer. Tried it for the sake of not buying any BMC beers.

Off-gold that seems to be thinking about yellow, fair bubbly head. Appears to be the vaguest hint of citric hops in the nose, plus some sliced white bread. Flavor starts with a weird hint of smoke (?). A bit sticky, husky and tart, weird on the palate and gets kinda disgusting. Something about this makes me want to vomit, must be the spoiled mushroom POR hops.
