Winner Speciality Beers LocALE Competition at York CAMRA Beer Festival 2013 Cloudy, hoppy weizen with Apollo, Bravo and Galena hops. This is a genuine German style Weizen with the hops of an American IPA. Light, refreshing and extemely fruity as the hops balance the banana and clove notes from the german yeast. This beer is naturally cloudy because it is unfined and thus suitable for vegans.

Draft at Craft 100 Spring 2016 - Craft Beer Co. Clapham, London. Pours hazy yellow with a white cream topping. The aroma has notes of zesty lemon, grapefruit and melon. Light to medium sweet flavour, with pithy and zesty citrus, wheat bread, lemon rind. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Nicely pithy and zesty on the finish. Tasty gear.

(Cask at Harp, Charing Cross, London, 22 April 2016) Hazy yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty, wheaty nose with notes of banana, bread, clove, hay and citrus. Malty, hoppy taste with banana, citrus, grapefruit, clove, grass and a balanced citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty, with a fresh citric hop profile and some good wheat beer notes. Quite nice.

Cask gravity at Craft 100. It pours murky yellow with a decent white head. The aroma is fresh, lemon verbena, touch of sherbet, tangy, candied peel and wheaten bread. The taste is crisp, bitter, straw, cereal, lemon verbena, bread, touch of spice, soap and apricot with a dry, somewhat earthy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Interesting and pretty enjoyable.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Cloudy amber-gold with a creamy head. Wheat ale with a few malts, most evident in its nose giving it a slightly gritty texture. Has a dominant wheat character though and a medium bitterness.
