Viven Bruin is an improvement of the original recipe. The fine balance between malt and spices creates a surprising aftertaste. Brown ale with an aroma of chocolate and caramel. This beer is the perfect meal companion. Properinge hops.

Bottle from Belgiuminabox. Pours a murky dark brown colour with a red hue and a medium thick creamy beige head. Nice lacing. Aromas of caramel, dry dark fruits, roasted malts and toasted bread. Taste is similar with hints of chocolate and a very slight bitterness on the finish. Medium bodied with a fair amount of carbonation on the palate. A better than average dubbel.

Brown with a tall, foamy head. Bit of a gusher. Mild, toffee aroma. A touch bready. A sprinkling of dust. Taste is mildly sweet with a touch of spiced bitterness at the end. Prickly carbonation on a medium body. Texture mildly watery. Overall quite drinkable without being especially good at anything.

Bottle at Fiere Margriet. Dark red brown colour, creamy golden head. Aroma is creamy, chocolate, very malty, sweet dubbel. Taste is good, very easy drinking. Sweet, chocolate, ovaltine, loads of sweet malt. Finish is long and roasty. Nice stuff. Very smooth and feels almost like a milkshake.

This beer is lacking a lot of flavour, it is perhaps oxidized, 5 months to expiration. It tastes very neutral, lacking everything, but it is clean underneath. online belgian beer factory bottle
