Draft. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, hops, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

(Bottle) Slightly hazy golden amber with small white head. Lovely aroma of stone fruit with toasty, pine and citrus notes. Light body with good carbonation. Excellent taste with a complex mix of toasty malt, spice, stone fruit to start with, developing some very pleasant bitterness for a long finish. An excellent beer, but does not seem to fit the style of "lager", but I guess they call it "Australian Lager" on the label.

On tap at Tom Taylors. Floral, floral, floral. That’s the aroma, the taste and the overall vibe of this lager. It’s a great take on this typically tired and unadventurous staple. It forces one to recontemplate the beer style and life more generally. It’s cool and it’s hoppy, but without any jarring bitterness.

Draft. Fruity nose, mod bitterness, thin malts, has a touch of citrus bitterness. Brewed with Beer Here. I’m not sure how this relates to the other variant of Cool Hops.

Bottle from Mane Liquor, Perth. Amber with a slight white head. Aroma of tropical fruits and biscuity malts. Flavours of pineapple, stone fruits and rich teas , with a hint of white pepper and dryish finish. Excellent.

light amber color. Minerally tropical fruit nose. Light bodied. A touch sweet light bitter finish. Very pleasant and refreshing. It really takes pale lager to the next level.

Bottle. Clear amber with a white head that fades to half an inch. Aroma of grapefruit, passionfruit, biscuit, caramel, some red berries. Light bodied. Tastes as it smells with modest bitterness. For me the malt flavours don’t go all that well with the hop flavours and the cleanness of it makes them jar. Smells good though.

I was lucky enough to come across this on tap at the Vue Grande at Queenscliff, and then again a week later in my beerboys 24 pack. It’s got quite a hefty aroma for a lager with loads of hops and a little malt too. It’s less malty in the mouth but still hoppy and tangy, with a slightly watery palate. From a comparison point of view, the hops in the tap version popped a little more, but the palate was also more watery on tap.
