cloudy yellow, small white head. heavy malty aroma with some bretty notes, and some burned hops note. the bottle IS kinda old (few years) so this particular saison don’t seem to age that well. I would assume still fresh, it would be kinda malty tohugh. not much yeast in there. flavor is sweet malty, faint spicy notes, faint caramel. clean brew. no off flavors from aging that i could detect.

Gusher alert!
Clear orange beer, huge creamy yellowish head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: sweet, very oxidized, honey, banana peel. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: very sweet and sugary, ripe banana, caramel, malty, oxidized, honey. Aftertaste: more of the same, slightly bitter, mainly oxidized. Has not got much to do with a saison, too much residual sugars and too much fruit esters from the yeast.

Cloudy pale amber colour, large foamy off-white head, looks a bit dirty, mostly diminishing, patchy lacing. Sweet malt nose, caramel, bread, yeast, earthy. Taste light light heavy sweet, caramellish, malty, spicy notes. Full to medium body, oily to sticky texture, average carbonation, aftertaste as in taste with light sour notes, sugary, strange Saison though not unpleasant.

Bottle shared. Pours cloudy orange with an off white head. Aroma is vegetal, peas, mange tout, yes certainly the characters of a traditional saison.. Light moderate sweet and bitter flavour. Light medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Weird.

Bottled from Biergenot, BB July 2017, large sample. Served in a trappist glass. Almost clear orange color, short to medium lasting white head. Aroma is spicy, peppery, bit flowery and earthy hop, slight grainy malt, bit hay, slight hint of bubblegum. Bit sweet, slight bitter. Bit caramelly, hay again. Full bodied but with a bit dry finish. Medium carbonation. Im a bit in between whether its a boring brew or a very nice brew, which is kind of strange. I give it the benefit of the doubt and decide I like it.

Bottle shared by me and Dutchdrebus with Joes @ weekly tasting. Hazy yellow color with some small particles floating in it, small white head. Smell and taste malts, sweetness, a touch of yeast and a bit weird. Not at all what I expect in a saison really. Hmm, ok beer.
