pitch dark, brown head. lots of wood and a little wine in the aroma. Also roasted stuff. flavor is roasted malts, wood , wine, licorice or candy.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of bluebetty. Pours pitch black with a lively black head - very lively actually comes gushing slowly. Lovely oaky aroma atop some hard roast and licorice. Only medium body, fairly dry roast, a little rustic from the barrel probably some bugs in there but also a mellow oakiness and some very bitter dark chocolate. Some malt astringency. But lovely indeed. 150311
