An 'American Farmhouse Ale.' It's a Belgian-inspired brew that uses a combination of European malts, hops from New New Zealand and the United States.. and a classic farmhouse yeast to achieve a fruity, yet spicy, melange of flavors and aroma.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with medium frothy off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong yeast, grass, hay. Medium mouth, spice, floral, light dryness, decent.

Bottle shared with JMD at Cardinal after Mi2 04.05.15. Cloudy dark straw colour. Foamy, dense and persistent off-white head. Complex aroma of fresh grass, English hops, barn and succade. Similarly superb taste. Excellent drinkability.

Keg at Cask Pub and Kitchen, Pimlico, London. A hazy golden amber coloured pour with a huge fluffy white head on top. Floral, herbal, citrus aroma. Tastes similar, floral, herbal, citrus, zesty and slightly sour. Quite refreshing and drinkable.

Bottle from Mitsuya’s in Asagaya. Pours a hazy golden color with a modest off-white soapy head that dissipates fairly quickly. Tart apple, lemon zest and iyokan on the nose with a light hint of yeast and pepper. Medium body with a slightly oily mouthfeel. Weird taste of ammonia with a hit of rubbing alcohol. Not sure if this bottle was tainted or not. As it warmed up some of the harshness disappears and the apple, pear and pepper become more pronounced.

Draught. Amber color with small whitish foamy head that disappears immediately, light floral hops aroma, medium carbonation, slightly bitter spicy caramel taste, abrupt finish with bitter aftertaste. Quite a nice brew!

Bottle. Tall Boys, Leeds. Very hazy orange. Film and ring of white head. Very chewy, grainy malts. Banana toffee. Bit toasty. Bit peppery. Taste is sweet, turning light dry. Hint of bitterness. Smooth, creamy palate. Stickiness on the lips. Finishes chewy sweet, with a hop bitter close. Ok stuff.

A slightly hazy, golden beer with a big and blond head. Aroma is fresh, perry-like fruityness, lemon, some grain, sourness and spices. Taste is fruitful and strongly spicy, quite strong hops in the end, slightly dry, nice sourness. Medium bodied, strong carbonation. Quite harsh saison but as a good way.
