The art of brewing is the art of creating something special with the few ingredients that the purity law and the Kölsch convention dictate. Pure water from our own well, top-fermenting yeast from our own breeding, the best barley and wheat malt and selected types of hops - the result can be tasty: tangy and fresh on the tongue, delicately tart and hoppy on the palate, slim and elegant in the finish. Simply good taste that can take the following forms.

0.5 l bottle shared with Ogi, thanks. Clear golden, small off-white head. Aroma is grain, some butter and some ripe apple. Some sweetness, some cardboard, some vegetable and malts in the flavour. Creamy, too sweet, minimal bitterness, more like a macro lager, not Kölsch. Sweet finish.

From Tanta Emmen, Paris, relax at my hotel room,.Mercure, gare de Lyon. It is not a grand cru but it is ok, a bit rough and metalic, side of toffee, a bit fruity, not so subtle, malty, dry impression to be boozy not the alcohol is not so high, 01.09.21

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Clear gold with small white consistent head. Aroma of 50/50 bread, some sweetness and citrus zest. Light spicy and herbal notes. Taste has the same elements but its a bit thin and watered down but nicely toasty and bitter in the finish.
