Tap at the brewhouse. Super crisp but the dryness was a bit overwhelming. Like I needed a beer after this. Had a little bit of an off aroma too. Slightly soapy. My least favourite koelsch of the trip.

Bottle carried back from Germany. Thanks to Frank & Jody. Sample side-by-side with Fruh. Nose and flavor are a mirror of each other. Some sweet malt, honey, and soft mineral. Light hop finish. Light body with a decent crispness..

Ein süffiges, aber auch ein wenig aromatisches, weitgehend neutrales Kölsch. Erinnert eher an ein schlankes Helles.

Aroma of pale malt, grains, faint fruit, light hop. Flavour is malt, light sweet, with a light bitter finish. Not a bad Kolsch.

(Bottle) Pours clear golden with tiny white head. Aroma is grainy and grassy. Light bodied with somewhat fizzy carbonation sweet caramel and biscuit malt with candy hints balanced with some herbal hoppy bitterness. Pleasant drink.

A bottle shared with little Dina at Bier Laden, Berlin. Clear golden, small off-white head. Light grainy and light herbal aroma. Light bitterness, grainy, bready and lightly doughy flavour. Light body, slightly creamy, soft carbonation, drinkable.
