Beautiful golden colour, bright, hazy; less head than the average Belgian beer. The main character comes from the Belgian yeast, some spiciness; it's moderately sweet and hot; the grains add a bit of muddy feeling.

33cl bottle from E.Leclerc Pierry supermarket in France. Huge, egg-white good retention head. Colour is deep gold, almost clear. Aroma is malty, spicy, mellow fruity, bit honey, floral, orange peels. Taste is medium to full malty base, mellow fruity, toast, grainy, bit spicy, medium carbonation, it's like biere de garde for me, not bad not great, partially enjoyed.

Pas très pastorale cette triple qui est plutôt lourde en bouche est sans imagination. En verre nous sommes sur un blond doré quasi ambré limpide avec une mousse blanche nappant la surface. Le nez est sur les céréales, la coriandre, le miel et un alcool qui se fait ressentir. A la dégustation les déséquilibres sont patents avec un sucre trop présent, un alcool pas bien intégré et une petite acidité qui devrait être évitée mais qui ici coupe tout de même légèrement la sucrosité. Cette acidité est d'ailleurs présente dès l'attaque avec des arômes de céréales avec une pointe de citron et de poivre. Peu emballant. La deuxième bouche s'empâte avec un alcool mal intégré et des arômes toujours aussi peu enthousiasmant autour de céréales, de miel, de fruits jaunes, de poivre et de coriandre. L’arrière-bouche est quant à elle instable avec des notes de banane et un alcool qui se fait davantage ressentir en retro. Avec le sucre, la corpulence est bonne. Le final par contre s'écrase pour laisser les céréales et l'alcool en bouche. A éviter.

ottle. Deep gold with a white head. Heavy aroma with honeyed dough, grains, bitter oranges, spices. Sweet but perhaps not quite as sweet as suggested by the aroma with alcohol as well as finishing bitterness contributing. Apricots join the fruit. Not bad but a tad ponderous.

330ml bottle. Pours a misty gold, large white head. Aroma has a soft yeasty sweetness, lightly zesty. Taste is smooth with soft floral notes, some citrus fruit. A pleasant Belgian-style blonde that hides its strength well, but not a massive amount that sets it apart from the many similar such blondes out there.
