2010-08-03, draught at Cockney Pub, Århus, as Hoppy Monk, 7-4-6-3-13=33
Cloudy copper-amber color; small, creamy, persistent head. It has a nice aroma, hoppy, mild, fruity. Quite strong body; strong bitterness too, but not very hop-aromatic; it has a strange viscous sweetness with a tone of liquorice, that is very strange in a beer of this color; this trait actually quite spoils the fun out of it...
2010-05-18, draught at The Green Lion Inn, Malmö, as Aktieøl, 7-4-7-4-14=36
Amber color; creamy head. Creamy and fruity hop aroma, light butter. Medium body, candy like malt flavor, sweetish; strange fruity edge (banana), spicy Belgian yeast, fruity hops. Strong ending bitterness, with a lot of hop oils. A bit inconclusive.
2010-05-07, draught at København Ølfestival 2010, as Aktieøl, 8-4-7-3-15=37
Light amber color; creamy head. The yeast gives a very fruity aroma, then more Belgial character, spicy; but also soft and perfumy. Spicy malt flavor, sweetish. Not as bitter as expected. Balanced; very pleasant.
