This is a nice beer. Interesting heather taste. Very pale colour, with slight head. Nice to try a beer without the hops. Not that I donβt like hops. Just a nice change.

Poured from 330mL bottle. Cloudy pale yellow with very minimal white head. Herbal, cereal aroma. Flavour starts with cereal followed by tea flavours of mint and chamomile with a touch of sweetness at the end. Fairly light body. Taste is quite interesting.

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a mostly clear dark gold with minimal head. Aroma is quite sweet. Honey and something slightly herbal. Taste is medium sweet. Honey and clove. Medium bodied with a somewhat thin texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Not bad overall. I would drink it again.

Bottle from Morrisons. Amber colour. Thin, white head. Sweet malt, some floweriness, as youβd expect. Taste is a sweet start, light, slightly peppery finish. The wrong side of sweet, for me.

The smell is like of raspberry fruit, plus a bit like lavender. Aroma is a bit of flower, a bit of herbs, but nothing like hops, rather like gruit. Pale colour, quickly diminishing head. The beer is rather dry, with small bitterness. Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation - too big for me. Ok, itβs interesting, but I wonβt drink it often.

Bottle from Scotmid. Pours gold with a thick white head. Aromas of honey and herbs, and bit floral too. Taste has more of the same, some bitterness balancing the sweet. well balanced, medium body, lively carbonation. Good, clean finish. A nice beer.

500ml Bottle (EBBC 2013 Edinburgh) - Golden in colour. Malty aroma with heather and a hint of lemon. Lemon, malt and heather all feature in the refreshing taste.
