In 1998 Beer Chang was awarded the “Gold Medallion” at the International Beer Competition in Australia in the category of “Lager, Unlimited Degree”.

A pleasant, refreshing and easy to drink beer, although it doesn’t offer much taste. Lacks a bit of carbonation to really have that refreshing feeling. A - pale straw color, clear with a very weak and quickly disappearing head S - very gentle, mainly grassy hops, but not much of that either T - sweet and grainy, not much to talk about here

I just recently pushed Pale Lager out of my Top 10 rated styles but then I couldn’t resist this gem during work lunch possibly putting it back in. pours yellow with small white head. nose is grainy and metallic. tastes much sweeter than i expected with some grains, lemon peel, and cardboard. crisp enough to cool down heat from my chicken thai basil dish

Had many bottles of this stuff out in Thailand. This rate was from a Thai restaurant in St Albans. Very light straw yellow. Frothy fine white fleeting head. Aroma is light corn, sweet malt and light skunk. Flavour is very light corn, slightly stale malt. Some esters in there. Light pale lager body. Some what refreshing. Pretty dull.
