Sample at GBBF Winter. Brass colored pour, more animal head. Aroma is wheat, sweet, woody. Taste is subtle, grainy, malty, oily feel. Heather adds minor herbal notes. Enjoyable

(Bottle) Pours clear golden with tiny white head. Pleasant subtle aroma with hints of peat. Light body with bright carbonation. Great taste with several pleasant flavours including ginger and peat over a light caramel malt. Very pleasant.
Golden clear just a ring of head. Thick bready malt nose with ginger. Taste full thick hay malt, honey notes, ginger. Honestly, fairly uncomplicated, but solidly good.
