Bottled. Pours dark and darker. Wow - the alcohol predominated for me, some malt and chocolate.

Bottle, koszi Panni! Pours jet black with beige head. Nose is chocolate, light coffee, huge booze. Taste is big chocolate, pleasant, boozy sweetness, nuts and some nougat, mainly in the finish. Medium to heavy body, soft carbo. Heavy sipper.

quite interesting. nose is very fruity, and definetly has a roasted malt smell to it. flavour is more of the same. nice bitterness in the finish, reminds me alot of HOTD Adam. nice beer, but not what i was expecting from a porter.

Black appearance with a large tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, hint of raisins, coffee, caramel, chocolate, fruity and resinous hops, some liquorice. Flavour is roasty, coffee and chocolate. Nice hop bitterness in the long aftertaste. Wonderful brew.

[as Flying Dog Gonzo Imperial Porter, ABV 10.0%] Bottiglia. Arco olfattivo dominato da caffè e cioccolato. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata, permanendo in maniera apprezzabile.

Pretty damn close to black. But not quite. Thirteen years ago that would be black. Now smell this. Rich dark and singed fruits like plum, dates, pomegranate and raisins. Burly roastiness, tempered by abundant malt sugars – so clean and simple but so effective. And a hint of woody, grapefruity hops. It’s all there, dude. Complex as all hell and bang on to style, such as “imperial porter” is a real style. More like a fun interpretation of a few older, established concepts. But that’s for another day, cause today I’m drinking. Big and soft, this fills the mouth with decadence. The fruits are more pronounced with raisins and burnt plums taking lead. There’s some roast in there, too, and a ton of smooth sugars. Good stuff.

# 4088; 2/2024. Coffee, cocoa beans, dark chocolate, earthy, floral slightly caramel and fruity. Opaque dark brown body, tany head. Roasty, chocolate, raisin, earthy, resiny, alcohol warmth, bitter finish. Very well balanced. Excellent imperial (american) porter. 0,355 l, bottle, craft-beer pub, Pilsen (Bohemia, CZ).

Bottle. Fair enough, tastes sweetish, roasted coffee and cocoa. Fair enough.
