Flaske fra Best of Beers. Mørke brun med et fint skum. Dufter af ristet malt, gær og lidt sprittet. Den er sød og lidt tør.

Draught @ SKAAL Sønderborg. Pours hazy dark ruby / brown with stable beige head. Clear aroma of malt and fruit, with notes of yeast and touches of caramel. Bitter, hoppy flavour with sweet notes of caramel malt, fruit and yeast. Bitter aftertaste of hops and alcohol. Warming alcohol presence. A decent, well-balanced quad.

A dark brown beer, a head is medium and beige. Aroma has lots of dark and riped fruits, raisins and prunes, herbal bitterness, no alcohol. Authentic and pleasant aroma. Taste has sweet and dried fruitness, raisins, some toffee, only hint of drying spicyness. Full bodied and smooth. More complexicity to taste and then this beer would be great. Well, very good beer, anyway.

hazy brown colour with reddish notes, moderate sized creamy beige-ish head; aroma of dried fruits like cherry, plum, maybe dates, too, milk chocolate, burnt sugar/milk fudge, yeast, anise and hints of herbal notes; taste of dried plum, dates, caramel notes, anise again, some milk chocolate and hints of alcoholic spiciness; quite good quadrupel, though definitely not among the best ones

50 cl bottle @ hotel room, Copenhagen. Batch #59, BBE 09/2019
Aroma has strong hayish malt and berries typical to Danish ales. Flavour has berries, some chocolatey malt, alcohol and raisins. Not that good for a quad but this is one of those beers I bought for the label.

Unbalanced and stuffy.
