Bottle 0,65 ltr: Very dark brown colored brew with dry bitter taste and with hints of chocolate, Belgian bonbons, vanilla and great aftertaste of Bourboun. Inspired by the loss of their dog, sad inspiration but an great beer.

650ml bottle. Opaque, darkest brown colour with small, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, beige to tan head. Sweet-ish, chocolately and caramel malty aroma, notes of toffee, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, caramel, some strawberry and vanilla. Taste is sweet-ish, chocolately and caramel malty, slightly fruity, notes of dark chocolate, milk chocolate, toffee, some caramel, hints of strawberry and vanilla. Creamy texture, super-soft, smooth and silky palate. Rich, complex, superbly balanced - very nice.

Minus 1 point for the irritating, useless and pretentious wax. Foxy red-brown beer with a mango yellow, thick & dense stable head. Sweet chocolate, vanilla, sugared double cream, some roast. Very sweet impression. More chocolate in the flavour, both black and milk. Finish has a hoppy bitterness and a faint mineral hint, the rest is all molasses, praliné, vanilla, sweet. Very well-bodied, thick, luxurious, chewy. Decent carbonation, creamy texture. Too sweet by half.

Bottle from Bottleworks, Seattle, 3 years old, ~19 USD
Black color. Strong aroma of cheap chocolate. Medium body strength, sweet; artificial vanilla chocolate flavor, some oak.
Weird, artificial, grossly overpriced.

Bottle. Color: Black, very light brown head. Aroma: Chocolate, vanilla, Bourbon. Taste: Medium to over medium sweet, milk chocolate is clearly present but not overwhelming. Vanilla. Lightly boozy and oak notes. Hints of nuts. Moderate bitterness. Over medium body, soft carbonation. Some more boozy notes at the finish. Dense mouthfeel. Very nice one.

Tap at BeerTemple, 17th May 18. Pours black and slick. Aroma is dark and milk chocolate, cocoa, praline. Taste is rich, sweet, so much chocolate, like a rich boozy chocolate liquid dessert, good in small measures.
