Gylden brun klar med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter lett brent karamell og noe floralsk lukt. Middels fylde. Søtlig lett bitter smak. Røde frukter og noe lett brent karamell.

Bottle sourced from Systembolaget (Hansa) shared with the Mrs - pours dark orange to amber with off white head. Sweet malty aroma and taste with caramel and toffee sweetness, quite a heavy hoppy presence, some marmalade, dried fruit shred, sweet malty towards the close.

Dark, hazy reddish amber with a small head.
Sweet toffee aroma with lots of raw onions!
Thick and sweet mouth feel.
Sweet, malty taste with notes of toffee, brown sugar and raisins. A little bit of booze shows up in the finish.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Hazy amber, small head. Caramely nose with some citrus. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Toffee, caramel and syrup, some pine. Warming mid bitter finish. Not bad, but you can only go so far with toffe/caramel barleywine.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a caramel-brown color with a large foamy orange-tan head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was sweet caramel, tobacco, bitter piney hops and a touch of spruce. The flavor was sweet and malty with caramel, tobacco, piney hops, a moderate bitterness and a bit of cherry cough syrup. Long sweet pine and caramel finish with lingering bitterness. Moderately full bodied. Decent.

1 pt 6 fl oz bottle. Deep reddish-orange brown amber colour, creamy off-white foam head leaving spotty lacing and aroma of caramel, orange marmalade, pine, hop resins. Taste is sweet, malt caramel, floral citrus, fruity, hoppy, woody pine, earthy bitter. Smooth mouthfeel, medium carbonation, soft carbonation, warm slight grassy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.
