Bottle. Poured a clear amber with a small head. Aroma is hoppy with a sweet note to it. Flavor is bitter sweet with a combination of the oats and hops, a bit of alcohol as well. Enjoyable.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Clear amber golden with an off-white head leaving some lacework. Spicy and very aromatic hop aroma. Quite full-bodied, sweetish fruit accents - overripe fruit as well - and some almost perfumy hoppiness in the finish that also contains a rather solid bitterness. 200309

Bottle, 10.4%. Good, fat caramelly aroma. Clear dark amber colour. Very small white head. The flavour is vinous with a caramelly hoppiness, reminding me of an American barley wine. Good clean roughness in the finish.

Courtesy of markwise. Pours clear copper with thin off white head. The aroma has notes of crystal malts, caramelization, some pine hops and hints of dark fruity esters. The taste has an initial pulse of pine and citrus hops that run the flavor from front to back. By midway thick malts and notes hinting at but not reaching dark fruitiness surface and move the experience toward the finish. The hops still over shadow the other flavor components. It seems very IIPA β ish. Very nice American Barleywine.

Bottle shared by hopscotch. Pours amber color with off white head. Lots of grapefruit hops in the aroma with some citrus. Caramel, bitter hops and oat flavors. Medium body with average carbonation. The oats give this beer a very nice, creamy mouthfeel.
