Bottle 0.33l from our Mallorca trip in summer 2018. Black, opaque. AROMA- roasted malts, dark chocolate, pralines, tones of nuts and coffee, pleasant alcohol. FLAVOR- smooth, slightly sweet, lightly bitter, liquid pralines again, just very decent chilli in finish. Full bodied. Very good stuff.

The Aromas are dark malt, molasses, roast and black patent. Flavors are very similar to nose, sweet up front tempered with some roast, body is on the flat side. Not bad but too flat and the Molasses are too heavy.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque pitch black with a roughish light brown head. Discreet roast in the nose where the chili has already checked in. Sweet, rich body of roast, lurking notes of chili, that slowly grow more dominant and eventually leave quite a bite. 120318

Poured at Shelton Festival, dark brown with medium beige head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is strong peppers, roast, cocoa. Medium body, roast, dark chocolate, nice heat from the peppers, very good.

Draft @ Brewdog, Barcelona as Xili version.

Bottle from Cap Tap. Pours very dark brown with a slight dark tan head. Aroma brought Mexican chocolate to mind. Chili is quite mild. Near full bodied. Flavor is chocolate with a nice, but strong, level of chili. Not mouth rending, but it does make an impression.

Shared 33cl bottle with Marc (BRW) on 17th Jan 2017. Nice Chili flavour running through the brew, not over the top, but just above the surface and therefore noticeable in both the nose and taste. Black bodied with a decent tan coloured head, slick, smooth and pleasant: coffee notes alongside dark chocolate flavours blend well with the hotness from the peppery chili content. Liked it.
