Cette bière fut créée pour un festival celtique pour remplacer la G…avec un prix bien plus modeste. Le succès fut au rendez-vous mais la G…offre également du merchandising qui l’a finalement emporté sur notre offre. La Mac a donc intégré notre gamme et sa nouvelle étiquette –le seul homme de la gamme, le Mac de ses dames- fait déjà parler d’elle, un nouveau succès en perspective ?

Bottle at home. One of the first and best stouts I have drunk. Despite its quite weak strength, you still get that powerful Belgian beer flavour mingling into a stout that bears some British porter/stout flavours. There is a nice backing of Belgian chocolate flavour. It remains despite this big flavour profile a fresh beer that lacks after taste. Yummy.

330ml bottle at home as part of European Local Swap 2/2015 from RW80, many thanks. almost black color. small tan head. smells malty roasty, light smoke note, smells milky / creamy, light spices. nice smell. light to medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes malty roast, light smoke notes, some spices, notes of coffee, light ash notes, also some pine notes. finishes quite dry with roasted malt, light ash notes and light pine bitterness. body is almost watery at first but the bold (roast) flavors give the taste the necessary depth. overall nice drinkability, after a while an almost Black IPAish quality develops after the pine bitterness starts to come through. this is one of those beers that benefits from a larger tasting size.
