Tap @ Café De Engel Oldenzaal. Amber color. medium bodied. Hint of caramel in the flavor. Well hopped with a nice grassy, citric, slightly herbal hoppiness, especially revealing itself in the aftertaste. Charming beer.

Bottle Two years past bb date. Clear amber with some weird looking stuff floating around. Tastes medium sweet malts, some roasted touch and light fruit with some peach and orange. Not much of a finish. Overall quite boring amber ale, looks like crap but otherwise it quite held up. Too bad it’s not very good to begin with.

This ain’t the ’taste of realness’, this is a flat, uninspired amber beer. Boring.

Poured a slightly hazy amber with a thin tan head. The aroma is a little weak but slightly malty, The aroma is medium bitter with bags of malt. It’s drinkable but not in volume.

Bottle shared at Deanso’s really bad music tasting. Pours clear amber with an off white head. Aroma of massive malt, bread, light caramel and grain. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

21/07 RBESG Grand Tasting, 0.75 l bottle. It poured a clear red body with small head. Nice honey aroma, a bit of grapefruit. Slightly sweet flavor, again honey, some caramel, grains and some herbs from hops. Medium bodied with longer, pleasantly bittersweet caramel finish. A decent beer, smooth and easy going.

RBESG 2012 GT. POured a dark amber body. Heavy malty nose, some honey. The same goes to the taste, heavy maltiness, some honey, very light general herbal notes, but a nice soft mouthfeel. Ok.
