Una delle prime birre che ha cominciato da quest’anno una sperimentazione sostituendo la classica luppolatura con il primo raccolto commercializzato di luppolo italiano dell’Italia Hop Company. L’intenzione è in futuro di produrla con materie prime 100% italiane.

Bottle shared with JMD and KA on board Fridtjofen 01.08.19. Cloudy dark straw colour. Small, white head. Not much lacing. Fruity aroma and taste of Belgian yeast, pilsner malt, sorrel and citrus bitterness.

0,33 flaske delt med Kitty og skibsrederen ombord på Fridtjofen: uklar strågylden med kort skum. Fruktig aroma og smak med florale undertoner - hylleblomst, løvetann, gule epler, noen bitre urter. Nokså besk i uttrykket.

Cask at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours very hazy, dark gold, with average white foam, grossly grained. Aroma is floral, somehow sweet. Body is average, with good carbonation. Taste is moderately bitter. Finish is regular in length, with some residual bitterness.

Tap at the source Kamun Lab in Genoa-Italy. Golden hazy pour with a medium White foam. Nose is herbal, spicy somehow, coriander notes. Mouth: clean body, spicy again...zest. Interesting.

Draft sample @ Birra Expo’14, Piacenza. Dorée, col blanc fin. Profil sec avec un retrait pils malté ponctué de ce caractère houblonne noble allemand. Ressent un petit rétro pomme-tanin avec au final une amertume assez dominante. L’usage des 6 houblons, malgré leur nombre reste assez neutre dans la dimension qu’ils offrent. On reste ici dans une blonde facile à approcher.
