This beer claimed to be the world strongest beer with an ABV of 65%. On Brewver the ABV is not listed as their are some discrepancies.
After the release of "Snake Venom" of the same brewery in 2013 there was rumor about the ABV of those two beers. They were tested in a laboratory and the result was 22.8% ABV (official: 65% ABV) for Armageddon and 41.1% ABV (official: 67.5% ABV). Later another batch was tested with 67.5% but soon it got official that this was only the reason because pure ethanol was added. Therefore "Snake Venom" often not seen as real beer - and the brewery simply lied about the ABV of Armageddon.

The world's strongest beer at 65%. Ingredients include crystal malt, wheat, flaked oats and of course 100% Scottish spring water. We then freeze ferment the beer to bring up the ABV. Consume this like a fine whisky.
Despite being 65%, the beer has a lot of flavour - malty, hoppy, slightly sweet and lots of yeast still in the beer. Be careful though, smelling it is probably enough to put you over the limit!

Bottle @ Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering, Ulfborg. No head. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are wood, caramel, malt, smoke, alcohol and notes of fruits. Definately doesnt taste like 65% - more like 15% or so.

Bottle @ TSODRBSG13, Ulfborg. Hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, grainy and yeasty. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet finish with some alcohol. Strange and nowhere near 65 %. 300813

bottle at home ... Thanks Rich ... copper ... soft light acetone ... soft fruit ... light toffee nose ... thick and sticky ... soft meaty malts ... thick syrupy ... light on flavour ... soft and sticky ... and a massive lack of alcohol... Im surprised that Customs and Revenue , or trading standards are not all over this blatent mis representation ... nose is bad... flavour is blah ... but over all its not great and i cant way to see if what ABV this tests as its got none of the Alchol of the Mikkeller 18% and definitly got the alcohol of any of the Strong Brewdog or the fire watter of the Schorschbräu ones. If the brewer has got this to 65% he is a genius but then if he is a genius why doesnt it taste better.

Bottle @ Papsø. Pours a slightly hazy orange color with no head. Has a sweetish malty caramel spicy aroma with buttery hints.Sweetish malty dry peaty bitter caramel and alcohol flavor. Has a sweetish dry peaty alcohol finish with buttery hints.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy brown with no head. Aroma is light herbal and minerals, light spiced. Malty, caramelish, herbal. Dry roasted malty. Toasted caramelish. Light vegetables finish. Sweet, minerals and caramelish lasting impression - not burning alcohol.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy amber with no head. Thick diacetyl aroma! Quite some booze also - and manure. Medium body, basically flat, some subtle caramel, minerals and an extreme booziness. Very bitter finish. I don’t know how strong this is, and no I didn’t try to burn. But as a beer considered it’s a total mess. What a joke! 250313

Bottled (thanks for sharing this goes to omhper!). Amber colour no head. Aroma is quite strong hops, caramel, sugar and some mild alcohol. Flavour is slight alcohol, fruity and grassy bitterness along with some burnt sugary notes. Flat and thick palate, but quite tasty. And probably nowhere neat the claimed 65 %. I would say the abv is approximately 15 or so.
