Bottle @ Fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are malt, yeast, fruits and hops. Medium bodied and soft carbonated.

Bottle as ’Hertog Jan De Proeverij X’ @ home. Gift from a colleague. Clear golden color, full white head that decreases quickly into a small head that’s lightly creamy and white to off-white in color. Weird aroma of malts mixed with smoked bacon. Taste malts, spices, slightly bitter and slightly that bacon again. Low to medium carbonation, low to medium body.

Fles 30cl thuis. Bittere nadronk maar moet hem wel zoeken. Verder wat vlak. (11-2011).

Very good, slightly yellowish head over metallic-orange beer. Dusty malts nose, dough. Tad sourish as from wheat, nitrated water. Bananaester, clove, wheat; sourish with a tad yeast-laden bitterness in the background. Hints at citrus(peel). Medium bodied, well-carbonated. Tastes like a stronger hopped Hefeweizen.

Golden blond colour. Bit of sweetness in aroma. Mildly bitter taste. It’s been hopped three times. It has some op dryness but lacks a sharp edge. This beer is on the sweet side, close to some Belgian Tripels.

30cl Bottle from AH. Clear deep golden colour, white head. Aroma of fruity esters, hint of skunk, sharp alcohol, light grassy hops, banana and clove. Flavour is medium sweet, fruity, loads of esters, phenolic, light grainy, banana and cloves, sharp phenolic chemical bitter finish. Light bodied. Like Jerohen said, like HJ’s version of Leffe Blond. Which is already an InBev beer. Why am I even disappointed? Redundant brew.
