Bottle. Red dark amber, big offwhite foam. Hazelnut schnapps aroma. Creamy medium body. Nutella base, dry though, chocolate roast retronasal, frappe creamy coffee, dry roast finish. Somewhat tiring and artificial after a little while.

Can pour into nonic pint glass from Greg & Jane's Beer and Wine. Appearance is clear, beautiful reddish-dark-amber with tons of sparkle, thin, fleeting beige head and no lacing. Aroma is strong roasted hazelnuts and malts, milder chocolate. Taste is rich, roasted hazelnuts, burst of chocolate, background malts. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture (a little watery), average carbonation and nice, long, nutty finish. Overall, it's all about the hazelnut flavor, which is allowed to shine. Chocolate comes out as it warms. Nice.

Bottle @ Fox & Hounds, Sønderborg. Pours nearly clear copper brown with airy beige head. Clear aroma of malt nd caramel, with notes of nuts and touches of yeast. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt, with bitterish, roasty, hoppy and nutty notes. Hints of honey. Roasty aftertaste with estery notes. Well-balanced, well-carbonated and very enjoyable. Good work, ye rogues!

on tap from punk craft in moscow, 650 rub/l. pours a hazy mahogany amber with a steady head. aroma of hazelnut cake, biscuit, some chocolate. this is probably the first beer I've tried with "hazelnut" in the name which actually has that strong hazelnut aroma. flavour of hazelnuts, toasted malts, vanilla, a hint of chocolate. not too sweet, light body (especially considering the aroma). interesting.

12 oz. bottle. Pours dark brown with a creamy khaki head. Aroma is intense hazelnut. Taste is hazelnut, brown bread, chocolate notes. Very good.

Smooth nice malty beginning. Nice brown Ale there, hazelnuts and hints of roast. Nice smooth and moderate bitter nutty aftertaste.

Poured from the bottle: Gorgeous Amber/brown colour with ample head that remained throughout.
The smell is a bit on the light side....sweet but no hint of what the taste will bring.
The taste is fantastic! Wonderful mix of chocolate and hazelnuts that are balanced to perfection. I've had this many times before and, Rogue willing, will have it many times in the future.
Can you tell that it's one of my favs? ;^)
