Entering old-rates. Back in 2009, following the 110K#2. Petite bière facile à boire qui est en fait un deuxième usage du brassin de 110K#2. Bière super légère avec une petit côté houblonné. On a donc un profile malté ; caramel, grillé avec note café et toujours ce petit profile houblon citron mais dans une bière qui se déguste sans problème sous le soleil d’été en Floride. On retrouve un aspect torréfié impressionnant avec en retrait une petite pointe d’amertume de chocolaté et une once de fumé. Une petite merveille.

Pours deep dark with brown edges and mocha head. The aroma is nearly huge and not in anyway mild with spiciness mixed with coco nib goodness to go along with a slab of black licorice and spicy hops in the background. The taste is the same with tasty good ole’ yum-chocolate blended with a bag full of pepper spices in tow. By midway I get some roast taking hold followed by a black licorice bite and hop spiciness. Full flavored goodness with plenty going on.

@Tampa Wkly Gathering-pours a light brown head and dark brown color. Aroma is dark malt-chocolate, secondary hops. Taste is dark malt-ashy/chocolate, secondary earthy hops, wood. Thanks retorp (and Mrs Retorp)
