On tap at Bitter Pops. Black with beige head. Old school imperial stout. Nice roastiness. Dark chocolate and cocoa. Medium sweetness with some bitterness in finish. Good stuff.

Still a great beer. Doesn’t have the sweetness and adjunct-heavy character or mouthfeel of some of the newer big bois, but solid thick roasty chocolate, lots of coffee, smooth. Layered

Pours black with a small tan head. It has a rich aroma of dark roast malt, coffee, and chocolate. The flavor is intense, a massive stout with enough resinous hops to cut the huge malt bill, leaving a balanced, full bodied brew that ends with a fairly bitter but still enjoyable taste. Excellent.

Pours black into a snifter. Mocha head with good retention recedes to hug rim. Licorice, soy and cocoa aromas. Slick with hot chocolate, soy, licorice and date upfront turning to hot espresso in the warm, lasting finish.
