Sample at GABF 10/05/2019, thanks to kathryneels for assistance with note-taking. Clear reddish-bronze color with a thin off-white head that burns away quickly to a wispy film. Spotty lace. Floral, fruity and spicy aroma. Light to medium body with flavors of spice, hibiscus, wheat and malt. The finish is herbal and fruity tea. Decent overall.

@Woods Oakland. Red, smells like glogg. Cinnamon, light berry, tart...ok this is a lot of fun. If you like glogg.

On tap at Woods Bar & Brewery, pours a clear copper with a small beige head. Aroma is fairly tart, with lots of floral hibiscus notes and some tart citrus. Flavour is similar, with plenty of hibiscus notes upfront, followed by floral and citrus. Very hibiscus-y, finishing fruity and lightly tart. Decent.

Tap at the Polk station brewery tap. Nice translucent pinky orange coloured pour with a lasting off white pink head. Aroma is huge in your face pink peppercorn, spices, curry, spicy hibiscus. Too much for me. Flavour is composed of mellow spices, berry, peppercorn, hibiscus, biscuity malts, slight grape note in the finish. Palate is semi sweet, frothy carbonation, spicy finish. Little lingering tangy fruit, peppercorn. Better than the aroma.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a clear golden orange color with an off white head. The aroma has lots of herbals and background hints of caramel and fruit. Bay leaf, flowers, caramel apple, pear and ginger. Very cool. The flavor is nice with low bitterness, apple, pear, ginger and leafy tea-like herbals. A hint of caramel and bread. Very well balanced without the astringency that I get from other aggressive gruits. One of the best Ive had of the style.

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours pink-tinged gold, big white head. Aromas are hard to place, floral and wheat. Then someone said Clamato and it was game over. Disappointing,
