Bottle from Berts Bierhuis. Hazy orange colour, medium off-white head. Nose is malty, honey and caramel, sour, lots of sweetnes, indeed maybe unfermented or residual sugars, as noted before. Flavour is very sweet, caramel, fairly bitter, herbal. Finish is very bitter and very sweet. This is really not good at all.

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a cloudy dark amber with a broken white head. The aroma is rich, fruity and with a little yeast. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a spicy hop bitter, yet surprisingly smooth palate. They went overboard on the Chinook perhaps, but it’s not such a bad beer at all. This one was room temperature and i’d like to try one a little cooler which I think would suit the beer.

Post Borefts I Invasion of Fonefan and Charlottes room tasting! Hazy amber beer. Softish palate, mildly fruity and malty. A little subtle spice. Easy drinking. Original 3.3
3rd May 2010
Cloudy dark amber beer, frothy short lived off white head. Light dry palate. Nice caramel malt fairly well balanced with bittering stingy hops. Marmalade orange, faint raspberry and a little Nelson Sauvin like blackcurrant. Finishes soft and a little dry with more fruit. Solid beer, good stuff.

Smells lightly sour. Tastes bitter, but I don’t taste enough of the Chinook-hops and it doesn’t really tastes like 60 EBU to me. Maybe a little bit thin texture, but still a very nice mouthfeel.

Had this sat at the camper, Landsmeer, Nr Amsterdam, Netherlands, 22-06-10 This poured a gold/orange colour with a white sticking to the glass bubbly, foamy, head. This was sweet & very hoppy in mouth, spicy, yeasty and the Chinook and others hops showed. Hops stay in mouth for a while, aroma is spicy, ad hoppy, nice beer. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov15 3.7

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of KimJohansen. Pours a cloudy amber with a small and lacing off-white head. Rather rotten aroma. Medium body, sweet , overripe fruitiness and some leathery hoppiness. Dry, hoppy finish and some alcohol. Nothing APA about this. 110510
