Cloudy dark brown beer, short lived tan head. Cracker crumbs rise to the surface! Tangy dark malt and chocolate nose. Light palate, a little crisp and dry. Tangy dark malt with a subtle biscuit tone. Not really getting much chocolate or marshmallow. Finishes dry. A decent Porter - never a Stout! Ha!

thanks hbmason for sharing-12oz bottle-pours whisps of light tan head and murky brown color. Aroma is cocoa/roasty-medium/dark malt. Taste is rich cocoa/roasty-medium/dark malt, some toast, some hop offset.

Bottle thanks to Styles. Pours black with tan head. Has some floaties that look like cocoa. Nose of peanut butter, cocoa, marshmellow and graham cracker. Taste is a little flat. Mostly cocoa and roasted malts. Might be some graham cracker in deep background.

12oz bottle pours a hazy, deep brown with zero head. Nose is not bad, smokey, burnt sugar, a little malt, a little vanilla. Flavor is sweet, burnt sugar, caramel, a little lactic acid, brown sugar. Might have been a little infected. Silky finish. A gimmick beer, plain and simple.

Bottle thanks to Sean! Poured a clear dark brown with a brown head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma was full of roasted malts with chocolate and slight hints of graham cracker and marshmallow. Flavor was similar and quite dry with roasted malts and bitter dark chocolate. If you really looked for it you got some graham cracker and marshmallow, Solid stout, but would be great if the smores came out more.

12 oz bottle for rating #400. An aggressive pour gives a dark brown beer with a tan head that dissolves quite quickly. Aroma is very strong in syrupy chocolate; at times it gives kind of an artifical grape impression due to the strength of the chocolate. Flavor has a touch of the grape impression but quickly fades to a creamy chocolate flavor with coffee and impressions of, indeed, marshmallow and graham cracker, though I’m wondering if the latter is just due to the power of suggestion. Very sweet. Molasses is also a definite flavor impression. Very intense.

Growler shared by GodOfThunder. Pours black with tan head. Aromas of burnt malts, caramel, marshmallow and graham cracker. Flavor is a bitter-sweet mix of roasted malts, chocolate, and a slight hint of marshmalllow and graham cracker. Medium to full body with mild carbonation. Very interesting and good.
