This rosey pink colored melomel has aromas of honey and tart cherry. Medium bodied, it is sweet and acidic and full of cherries and spice. It begins sweet and finishes dry. This delicious mead makes you want to drink more as soon as you finish.

Bottle thanks to FlandersNed. Pours reddish brown. Nose/taste of honey, black cherry pits and tart cherry. Moderate tartness. Sticky sweet mouth feel. Medium body. Well balanced.

Sample at the Mead Molehill tasting on 01/10/2011. Pours a clear amber-honey color with a minimal off-white head that evaporates quickly. Spotty lace. Tart cherry aroma with a bit of molasses. Medium body with flavors of cherries, honey and malt. The finish is fruity with a lingering cherry aftertaste. Good Mead overall.

Cheers to Cheeseman for sharing this one during our black metal night. pours reddish. aroma, nice cherry honey aroma with a mild hint of tartness, blossom and cough syrup like nose. flavors, light cherry tartness is there lost among a sea of honey sweetness, wine like palate, very sweet and sticky sugar aftertaste. Cherry not over the top, leaving enough for the honey to be felt and leaving a very mild tart finish on the palate.
