In Denmark we have a lovely tradition for seasonal beer, and what you have here is certainly no exception. This is a never before seen collaboration between Ryan and the Beaster Bunny. A fluffy and precious Saison originally conceived of on the beautiful island of Fanø on the west coast of Denmark. It may sound like a true fairy tale, but don’t be fooled by it’s cute appearance.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: semi-hazy golden to copper in the glass with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: white pepper & green pepper up front with some light citrusy hops and citrus zest, subtle sweet grass, some lemon and subtle sweet wheat
Flavor: takes the prior noted aromas and blends to a semi-spicy to peppery and controlled zest appeal with a subtle sweet vibe underneath; finishes semi-zesty, citrusy and dry
Texture: medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper, not so much as to being a smooth beer as plenty of dryness and spicy to peppery tones seem to embrace my tongue in an expected sort of way.
Overall: I believe I liked this saison and would come back to it.

Bottle at the beer bistro. Hazy golden pour, with a small white head. The aroma is peppery, and grassy, with some strong wheat notes and lemon oil. Lively carb, lively mouth feel. The finish is light to medium bitter with an upfront grassy/herbal finished with some white pepper, and soft citrus zest.

Bottle from lukasmh. Thanks :) Pours hazy and greasy light orange with a medium white head. Aromas of lots of wheat, cellery leaves, spices, sweet notes, orange peel, citrus, banana. Taste is pretty wheaty, spices, citrus, pepper, soap, pretty bitter dry finish.

On draft at Craft. Pours very pale yellow and slightly cloudy. Low carbonation and a small thin white head. Aroma is very fruity, quite peachy, bit of apple, and a bit of a tropical fruit juice smell. Slightly doughy too. Taste is tangy. Really nice drinkable saison. Totally refreshing. Maybe a bit too refreshing.
